Many of our guests choose our apartments also because of their proximity to Chipichape Mall, a well-known and renowned shopping center located within walking distance.

Here you will find many shops, ATMs, food courts, cinemas and bars but it is also a hot-spot even for just people watching.

Cultural Events

Many outdoors events are organized throughout the year in the city of Cali benefiting from the great climate.

Some of these events, such as the Feria de Cali (Cali Fair) have gained much popularity and international acknoledgement that people are flying in from all parts of the globe to attend. Other events such as the Festival Petronio Alvarez are growing every year with many famous national and international bands performing every year.

Regardless of the occasion, Colombians are always very keen to welcome and share their traditions with visitors.

Feria de Cali

The Cali’s Fair (Dec. 25 – Jan. 01) is the most important cultural event in Cali, Colombia. It is a celebration of the region’s cultural identity, famous for the Salsa marathon, horse riding parades and dance parties.

Festival Petronio Alvarez

Choc Quib Town is a Colombian hip-hop group

This is a truly unique festival highlighting the best music from Colombia’s pacific coast. This festival is less a festival and more a competition: all of the groups are competing to win a prize in their chosen style. The Petronio Álvarez Festival consolidated itself as the largest and most representative feast of Afro-Colombian folklore from the Pacific Coast. The sensuousness of the dances and ancestral chants only the preamble to all the reasons you may have for coming to Cali in mid-August.

 Cali’s number one tourist product is salsa. It is an integral part of the city’s cultural patrimony and one of its great attractions. Several internationally acclaimed salsa academies can be found in Cali such as Rucafé or Swing Latino. Swing Latino was recently featured in the show Q’Viva.
